Our office welcomes you to schedule appointments from 7:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Monday through Friday. Please note that we observe public holidays and our office closes for staff vacations.

How do I send a message to my psychiatric provider?

For timely and efficient communication, we recommend using your patient portal. Messages submitted through the portal are received by Carli Bostic-Bixby, Manager of Operations and Clinical Services. If your message requires clinical evaluation, it will be promptly forwarded to David Newby, APRN.  You can typically expect a response within two business days, often sooner. During vacation periods, your provider continues to offer coverage, though response times may be slightly extended. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to supporting your care.

At Breezy Mental Health, our primary mission is to provide comprehensive mental health care for adults suffering with a range of conditions. These include, but are not limited to, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, bipolar disorders, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and psychotic disorders. We also extend our expertise to manage many other diagnoses. We encourage you to schedule an appointment with us. During the scheduling process, we kindly ask you to specify the primary reason for your visit. This allows us to ensure that we are able to address your specific needs. Rest assured, if any concerns arise during this process, we will promptly address them with you before confirming your appointment.

David Newby, APRN is currently in-network with several UnitedHealthcare, Oscar, Oxford, Cigna, and Aetna commercial plans. He also is in-network with several Florida Blue Plans. In addition, he is in the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts virtual network.

The initial consultation is priced at $279, while subsequent follow-up appointments are available at $179 each. Shorter 15-minute follow-ups may be scheduled and are priced at $119 each.

David Newby is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience in the mental health field. He holds a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida and a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Miami. His extensive knowledge and hands-on experience span a wide range of mental health diagnoses.
